02.10.08 - This statement is long overdue, but Siorai is dead. As of right now, we have no plans to reopen. Sorry, people, but it just didn't work out. Bitter Euphoria is it's (sorta) reincarnation. Check us out if you'd like.

The Sioraian Pound Come here to adopt or give away one of you wolves. We'd like it if our members kept their character active, but, unfortunately, that can't always happen.

Siorai's Wandering Lands
Amber Plains The Amber Plains area vast, open area with long, lush amber-colored grass. The very dark-green trees at the edge of the huge meadow create as much of a contrast to the grass as the strikingly blue sky. The wind that whips across the area makes wolves think they are going faster than they really are.
Aurora Meadow Aurora Meadow. A beautiful name for a beautiful place, perhaps? Quite right. During nighttime, the sky is lit up with an amazing display of color and beauty as able to be seen nowhere else in Siorai. The aurora borealis. It is without a doubt the most awe-inspiring place, as well as romantic place to be found. Many wolves have come here to find love, and rightly so. Will you be the next?
Deadwood Pond Not surprisingly, what most wolves think when they hear the words "Deadwood Pond" are certainly eerie and dark. That is, however, not the case with the real Deadwood Pond. In actuality, it is a beautiful, sureal place with lush moss and grass carpetting the banks and boulders. The Pond got its name from an old wolf who was passing by, a long time ago. He saw in the pond a huge, blackenned log, its bare branches reaching for the sky. Rumor has it that ghouls and ghost dwell here, but, then again, that's just rumor. It's a wonderful place, and surely one of the most visited by Siorai's inhabitants.
Green Birch Woods The Green Birch Woods are a small area blanketed in deep, emerald-green grass with nothing betwen the few birch trees to disturb the gleeful monotony. It's a beautiful place, particularly when it's overcast. Sun takes the green from the grass, and rain drenches the tree trunks and makes them an ugly gray color. Denning is easy here, which is one of its more prominent uses.
Long Lake Exactly as it sounds -- a long lake. Long Lake is very narrow, both banks being no more than 10 feet apart in places. Nor is it deep, with its deepest point being less than five feet underwater. All around the water, huge pine and maple trees grow, coloring the area with greens, yellows, and oranges. It's a beautiful spot for wolves to meet for a "playday".
Mountain Moor Mountain Moor is an area half way up the side of a mountain. It is half-lake, half-marsh, and has very cold water. No fish live in the lake, and only a few frogs and turtles can be found in te marsh half. It's beautiful all the same, and that beauty is especially magnified by the peaceful quiet enveloping the Moor.
The Glade The Glade is just that: a glade; a dent in the earth. The Glade has a pond in the middle, but this is no ordinary pond. It is completely clear of anything that would cloud the water. No bugs, no dirt. Nothing. It is made completely out of square granite stones, which is why there is no dirt in the water.
White Creek The lush vegitation lining White Creek is not only made possible by it, it is made magical by it. White Creek is a small stream, branching off the Dancing River and winding its way to the sea. What magic flows through these waters is seeps into the plants, making them useful in healing wounds. Animals that drink the water even once, become strong and fit and fast. Predators that eat the prey that drank for White Creek also grow strong and healthy.
White Falls This four-foot-high glistening spectacle is the most beautiful waterfall in all of Siorai, even though it is the smallest. It is fed by the White Creek, a strangely white rivulette that begins at the Dancing River, and flows out into the sea. White Falls is a lush, private place for couples to meet, talk or have "fun". It also has it's other uses, however. Fish are plentiful during the spawning time, and make easy prey for wolves while trying to leap up the White Falls.
Wraith Valley Certainly beautiful. Certainly appealing. Certainly spooky. That is what some of Siorai's wolves would dexcribe it as. During the day, Wraith Valley is a colorful, heavenly place that is a wonderous meeting spot. Few wolves, however, are there to see the nighttime beauty. At night, strange, echoing laughs are heard clear across Wraith Lake, the vast, glass-smooth lake in the center of the valley. Wolves who know the land keep away from this area during the night at all costs. Those unfamiliar with it, well...try not to be murdered by the spooks, eh?
Dancing River Pack The Dancing River Packland -- a long, narrow strip of land stretching across at least half of Siorai. The borders are on either side of the river, which begins at the base of Mirror Mountain, and empties into Wraith Lake. The water feeds and dampens the soil, making the ground very quiet to walk on. However, that dimension is ruined by the thick foliage that also lives because of the river. The weather here varies from hot to snowy, and prey is always plentiful.
Dark Woods Pack The Dark Woods are just that: a forest of darkness. The only trees that grow here are tall pine trees that block out all light brave enough to try and get through the branches. It is never cold here because the trees keep the warm air to the ground, but neither is it warm. It is the perfect temperature for wolves, and never changes. Prey is few and close together; prey animals stay away from the Dark Woods because of the unnatural still silence of the place.
Frost Heaves Pack A vast expanse os frozen, windy land in the most northern part of Siorai, the Frost Heaves Packland is easily the coldest, most demanding area. There is very little prey, and only the toughest wolves can stand to live here. Te snow melts during the summer, exposing short, glistening grass. In spring, Ice is common and travelling is dangerous. Winter is the harshest, coldest season and never fails to strike fear into the hearts of wolves whenever it rolls around. Indeed, Autumn may be the nicest month. The weather is just beginning to cool down, and frost is making first appearances in the morning.
Sage Wind Pack Nowhere else in Siorai is quite so open as the Sage Wind Packland. A vast, flat stretch of land undisturbed by tree or hill, rabbits and small, quick prey are plentiful. It is sunny three seasons out of the year, and winter brings mere frost and possibly a light dusting of snow. Sage and gorse plants crackle under paw, and hawks and falcons soar above your head, their ever-watchful eyes trained on you.
